Completes repairs and rebuilds onengine products in the field
Applies documented procedures andpolicies to complete basic repairs and schedule maintenance, including preparingrequired parts and tools
Disassemble and clean engines and/or engine components
Assists with completion requireddocumentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warrantyclaims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system inputscreens
Completes training in line with skilland business requirements
Maintains work area and tools for cleanlinessand proper operation
Ensure adherence to all relevantHealth, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation andreports any issues / incidents to their supervisor
Broad mechanical and /or electricalrepair and maintenance capability
Capable of external enginemechanical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - practical exposureto working on diesel engines.
Awareness of Quick Serve Process
Able to understand basic computeruse
Able to clearly communicate bothorally and in writing
Able to understand writteninstructions
Ability to work safely and identifysafety risks, including completion of any requires safety training and the JobSafety Assessment process
Can resolve basic technical problems
Able to work within qualitystandards
Capable of developing effectiveworking relationships
Ability to use general numericalprinciples
Ability to carry out basic repairsand scheduled maintenance on different product types without supervision
Able to understand diagnostic tools
Awareness and ability to accessCummins service support tools (such as Quick Serve On Line) and understandingof Microsoft Software
Able to prepare requireddocumentation to the standard required
Education, Licenses, Certifications
Apprentice Trained Engine Technician(Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevanttechnical institution
Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)
Minimal level of work shopexperience required
Basic level knowledge of and/orexperience with engine products
