We are looking for a talented Second Year Apprentice – In Shop to join our team for our Distribution Segment in Edmonton, AB.

The purpose of the technician is to disassemble and perform repairs or rebuilds for the Cummins HHP (High Horse Power) engines and modules in the Edmonton Industrial Repair facility.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support the Edmonton Service Departments in a diverse assortment of tasks as determined by the department Managers. I.E. Field Service Support & Truck Shop repairs

  • Disassemble and assemble engines and modules

  • Cleaning of tools, bench areas and shop equipment

  • Cleaning and inspection of parts, and components from engines and modules

  • Perform repairs to Cummins engines and modules

  • Perform Mid-life and full overhauls to Cummins Engines and modules

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Registered as second year apprentice HET with Alberta Apprenticeship Board

  • Display interdependence culture in safety

  • Quick and continuous learner

  • Ability to work safely and logically with minimal supervision
