Your responsibilities may include:
Troubleshooting, repairing and performing maintenance on customer on-highway and off highway vehicles / equipment.
Accurately placing labor on the correct repair plan.
Adhering to all safety rules and procedures.
Providing excellent customer service to all Cummins Customers.
Work environment will mainly be in the Shop but may be needed to support Field service when required.
Able to carry out basic diagnostics using Cummins diagnostic tools on different product types with minimal supervision.
Able to fully use all required Cummins service tools including Insite, EDS, Quick Serve Online.
Capable of developing collaborative working relationships.
Able to identify and communicate opportunities for work process improvements.
Can resolve common technical problems.
Self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Must have a Red Seal Journeyman certification as a Truck and Trailer Technician.
Must have a Class 1 Drivers Licence and a clear Drivers Abstract.
Must have or be in the process of obtaining a CVIP Licence.
Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada without sponsorship.
Prior experience rebuilding and repairing diesel engine platforms.
Prior experience with OEM diagnostic and repairs.
Strong computer skills are required, familiarity with Quick Serve/Insite software would be an asset.
Please Note: This is a Monday – Friday (45 hour / week) position based out of the Cummins Branch in Fort McMurray.
Our Pre-Employment Background Screening process consists of a Criminal Background Check as well as Education and Work Experience Verification.
Specific Tickets / Licenses are checked as required, and Drivers Abstracts are required for any position where driving is part of the job.
