If you are driven and motivated to become part of a dynamic team, we have an opening for a Field Service Technician in Winnipeg, MB . Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor , you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and performing maintenance on customer equipment in the field.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Carrying out diagnostics using Cummins diagnostic tools on different product types with minimal supervision.

  • Using all required Cummins service tools including Insite, EDS, Quick Serve Online.

  • Identifying and communicating opportunities for work process improvements.

  • Resolving common technical problems.

  • Accurately place labor on correct repair plans.

  • Adhering to all safety rules and procedures.

  • Providing excellent customer service to all Cummins Customers.

  • Overtime will be required depending on the customer requirements.

  • Time spent outdoors on customer sites with limited in customer shops.

  • On call for after hour service calls on a rotation schedule.

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • Must have a Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Duty, Commercial Truck and Transport, 310T Technician (or other recognized) certification.

  • Must have a Class 5 Drivers Licence and a clear Drivers Abstract.

Experience:

  • Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada without sponsorship.

  • Prior experience repairing diesel engine platforms. Cummins experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong computer skills are required, familiarity with Quick Serve/Insite software would be an asset.

Pre-Employment Screening:

  • Our Pre-Employment Background Screening process consists of a Criminal Background Check as well as Education and Work Experience Verification.

  • Specific Tickets / Licenses are checked as required, and Drivers Abstracts are required for any position where driving is part of the job.
